I am currently working on the fictionalized origin of the Tarot Cards, The series of tales explains how each card acquired its unique meaning and how the lost card, called "Oracle," is the key to the interpretation of the tarot and The Path to Wisdom, the reason for why the cards were lost in the beginning and discovered during the Italian Renaissance.

|

During
a bank robbery Janet becomes invisible to all but the robbers. A FBI agent
explains phenomenon and refers her to the Director of Regulators. Invisible
again to all but the criminal, Janet and the Director confront a death row
inmate. They escort the doomed man to purgatory for a preview of the torment
awaiting him if he does not confess to his misdeeds. On her own, several of
the prisoners she visits go mad. Troubled by the different purgatory levels
she has seen and the Liberators attempts to kill her, she resigns. Returning
to her life, Janet learns that her god-child was killed in a hit and run.
The driver, a well known star, is found not guilty at trial. Janet proceeds
to drive him mad by showing him the different circles of Purgatory. Her Guardian,
the FBI agent assists her in her endeavor. In the end, she accepts the need
for Regulators and the role she plays in the organization.
Katherine,
a three time widow, on the eve of her fourth wedding, panics, runs away and
dies in an automobile accident. In heaven she meets God who informs her that
everyone in heaven has a mate. No one is alone. She must spend time with each
prior husband before deciding on her eternal partner. Months later, she meets
God again and informs him she cannot decide as she was a different person
with each husband. God tells her she must choose and the woman disagrees.
To the dismay of her heavenly councilor, she elicits the help other woman
in similar situation to her cause of Free Choice. The revolution begins. God
is displeased over dissention in his world. During their final discussion
she realizes she always had free choice. God returns her to earth to wed her
fourth husband.
